Mercury Recycling Group PLC announces that it has changed its accounting
reference from 30 October to 31 December. The change has been made to match
the existing accounting reference date of Mercury Recycling Limited, the
business acquired by the Company in May of this year. Accordingly, the current
financial period will end on 31 December 2001.
