                        Notification of Board Changes

On 14 December 2000 the Board of InterX, the Europe-based software company,
announced that John Hancox would be retiring in the New Year from his position
as a non-executive director of the Company. The Board announces that John
Hancox retires today.

His roles as chairman of the Company's Audit committee, and as member of its
Remuneration committee, will be assumed by David Lee, who was appointed as a
non-executive director of InterX on 14th December 2000.

Richard Jewson, Chairman, said: 'I would like to thank John for his valuable
contribution to the Company over the past seven years, from the initial
flotation of Ideal Hardware in 1994, through to our development into an
established software company. John's advice and guidance throughout this
period played a key role in steering us along the path to becoming the
successful operation we are today.'
