Technology and Marketing Agreement
Launch of InterX BladeRunner Version 5.0
The board of InterX ('InterX' or the 'Company') announces that it has won
three new customers; that it has entered into a technology and marketing
agreement with SAS Institute UK; and the launch today of InterX BladeRunner
Version 5.0.
New Customer Accounts
In the first quarter of the current financial year, which ended on 5 November
2000, InterX won three new accounts, in accordance with its stated milestones.
The Company anticipates announcing them at the time of its first quarter
results at the end of November.
Technology and Marketing Agreement
InterX has entered into a technology and marketing agreement with SAS
Institute UK, the market leader in e-intelligence software and services. The
agreement will allow InterX and SAS to offer any e-business the ability to
improve substantially the effectiveness of its websites through improved
electronic customer relationship management (eCRM).
SAS is the world's largest private software company. Its software is used by
more than 33,000 business, government and university sites in 110 countries.
Its revenues in 1999 exceeded $1 billion.
Phil Bond, Managing Director of SAS UK, commented: 'The combination of
BladeRunner's richness of data with SAS' market leading e-intelligence
solution is a compelling proposition for today's rapidly growing
e-marketplace. Customers will be able to surface the real value-added
information that is critical if companies are to move beyond the challenges of
setting-up an operational e-business infrastructure in order to focus on
improving the quality of, and returns on, the user's web experience.'
Launch of InterX BladeRunner version 5.0
The Company today launches InterX BladeRunner Version 5.0, its multi-channel,
multi-device Internet application platform (IAP).
InterX BladeRunner Version 5.0 is a next generation eCRM and content
management platform which enables the content management and dynamic delivery
of personalised content and transactions online. It is the first IAP to adopt
a modelling approach to the implementation of online applications. This
enables even greater speed to market, speed to device, and long term return on
investment.
Philip Crawford, Group CEO of InterX, commented:
'The new customer wins endorse our view that we have the right technology, in
the right place and at the right time. Our agreement with SAS places us in an
even stronger position to capitalise on the opportunities offered by the
market for sophisticated eCRM software and interactive internet-enabled
devices - a market which is already experiencing exponential growth.
'With the launch of our new generation of Internet application software we are
well positioned to exploit all opportunities in our marketplace. We are now
ideally placed to fulfil our ambition of becoming a global internet software
company.'
