INTERX PLC
('INTERX' OR THE 'COMPANY')
The board of InterX today announces that an urgent review of staffing levels
and costs has been conducted. This has resulted in a reduction in staff

approximately 40%.
The board of InterX also announces that its interim results for the six months
ended 2 February 2001 will be announced on 7 March 2001 and that the results
of the strategic review will be announced on 27 March 2001.
Simon Barker, Chief Executive of InterX, said 'I fully appreciate that the
last two weeks have been a time of great uncertainty, especially for all our
staff and shareholders. We have acted promptly and decisively to protect our
