Statement re Share Price Movement

The Board of InterX notes the rise in its share price over the last few
days.

The Board set out the Company's strategy in its Stock Exchange
announcement on 29 November 1999:

      -     To exploit the opportunities available to the InterX group through
            its internet businesses, IT Network and Cromwell Media.
      
      -     To separate the distribution business, Ideal Hardware, formally
            from the InterX group.

The Board continues to progress the implementation of this strategy and
will make further announcements when appropriate.
