BMW GREAT BRITAIN APPOINTS ITIS TO PROVIDE TELEMATICS SERVICE PORTAL
BMW Great Britain has appointed ITIS Holdings Plc to provide content for a
customer facing web based telematics portal, which will be an integral part of
the BMW Great Britain website. ITIS will be providing route planning facilities,
city guide content, BMW dealer location information and dynamic traffic
information. This will allow BMW drivers who subscribe to BMW Assist access to
both static and dynamic route planning, weather information and points of
interest.
ITIS will be working closely with BMW during the next few months to design and
deliver the application.

location-based operator service. The services will be available in the UK by
mid 2003.
Through its NavTrak business (www.navtrak.com), ITIS has developed a unique and
innovative stolen vehicle tracking service delivered via GPS/GSM technology,
which offers theft alerts, vehicle tracking and police liaison throughout
Europe.
