ITIS WIN NEW TRAFFIC CONTENT CONTRACT WITH VODAFONE UK
ITIS Holdings plc ('ITIS') today announces a new contract with Vodafone UK to
deliver real time traffic information via WAP enabled handsets and text through
the Vodafone Live! service.
ITIS already provide Vodafone subscribers with an Interactive Voice Response
(IVR) based traffic information service using the 2222 short code under the AA
Roadwatch brand. In addition, customers can now browse for the latest traffic
information directly from their handset as well as being able to request AA
recommended routes complete with any relevant traffic delays. In the next few
weeks, customers will also be able to request SMS updates on conditions
affecting their journey.
