ITIS HOLDINGS plc
TRADING STATEMENT
ITIS Holdings plc ('ITIS' or the 'Company') will be announcing its interim
results for the six months ended 30th September 2005 on Thursday 24th November
2005.
ITIS remains in exclusive negotiations with the Missouri Department of
Transportation to deploy its Cellular Floating Vehicle Data ('CFVD') throughout
the State of Missouri. Negotiations towards execution of a definitive contract
are progressing but the timing for delivering some of the milestones associated
with providing the required traffic information, is such that the Company
believes it is unlikely that any revenues will be generated in the current
financial year.
The Board has revised its expectations for the full year ending 31st March 2006
and now anticipates that profit before tax will be reduced by £1.2m relating to
the shortfall in CFVD revenues generated in the United States. Due to
commitments with other customers and prospects and the ongoing development of
CFVD, the costs associated with CFVD in this financial year remain unchanged.
We are pleased to report that even as the business expands internationally, the
UK business continues to perform in line with market forecasts and is indeed
better than expected in some areas. The Company continues to be cash generative
and operate profitably on a monthly basis. We continue to have high levels of
interest globally in CFVD and are encouraged by the ongoing success of our
deployment in Belgium. The Board remains confident that the Company's blend of
technology and applications will provide a solid platform for continued strong
growth.
