HBox Achieves Full CE Certification

ITM Power (AIM: ITM), the energy storage and clean fuel company, is pleased to announce that it has achieved full CE certification for its HBox product.

A CE mark is a mandatory conformance mark for products placed on the market in the European Economic area. As such, achievement is an essential element of the Company's commercial drive as it enables commercial sales within the EU and is another significant product milestone for the Company. CE conformance certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health and environmental requirements. In the case of HBox, CE requires conformance with the EMC, Pressure Equipment and Low Voltage Directives.

HBox is a unique electrolyser system that achieves exceptionally high system efficiency.  Due to its novelty, achievement of CE conformity is a particular achievement.  HBox has been designed for hydrogen system integrators, fuel cell developers and experimenters. It is also the platform that the Company is trialing with directly coupled renewable power sources.
