ITM POWER STRENGTHENS IP PORTFOLIO
ITM Power is pleased to announce that it has filed three further UK provisional
patent applications covering:
• Photoelectric devices
• Novel materials for use in fuel cells and electrolysers
• Key technological elements important to the application of the Company's
proprietary 'in-situ' manufacturing process for membrane electrode assembly
('MEAs') and cell stacks
Further to UK Provisional patent Application (GB030857.7) concerning 'photon
augmented electrolysis', which is an advanced electrolysis process, the Company
was granted a patent on the 21 April 2004 under the title 'Method of
Photo-electrolysis', Patent Number 2385602.
Jim Heathcote, CEO, ITM Power said: 'Increasing our intellectual property base
is an essential part of our plan and we continue to execute our business
strategy, as announced at the time of our admission to AIM.'
