Change in Directorate - Appointment of Ian Griffiths as Group Finance Director
ITV plc has today appointed Ian Griffiths as an Executive Director of the Company in the role of Group Finance Director, reporting to Chief Operating Officer, John Cresswell.
Ian Griffiths' early career was with Ernst & Young where he worked in the corporate finance team before joining EMAP plc where he held a number of senior roles including Group Finance Director from 2005 until 2008.
John Cresswell, Chief Operating Officer of ITV plc, said:

ITV confirms that no disclosure is necessary in respect of Ian Griffiths as required by Listing Rule 9.6.13 other than to note his former directorship of EMAP plc.

Ian Griffiths joined EMAP plc in 1994 and was Group Finance Director from 20 October 2005 until 9 April 2008.
He held a number of senior finance roles within EMAP and led many projects delivering structural and systems changes in the group's operations.
He developed strong relationships with both institutional shareholders and the wider financial and City community.
Prior to joining EMAP, Ian Griffiths was at Ernst & Young for six years, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and working with a variety of industry sectors before joining the corporate finance team.
