                  ITV plc appoints two non-executive directors



August 8, 2007 - ITV plc has appointed Agnes Touraine and Heather Killen as
non-executive directors, effective immediately.

Agnes Touraine founded her own consultancy, Act III, in 2003 which advises
executives on strategies to re-start profitable growth. She also currently
serves on the Board of Cable & Wireless plc and, prior to its acquisition by
Travelocity, served on the board of Lastminute.com.

She was Chairman and CEO of Vivendi Publishing Universal between 2001 and 2003.
In this time she grew the business significantly, both through acquisition and
by expanding the global distribution network.  It became the third largest
publisher worldwide, generating revenues of $4.7 billion in 2003.  Prior to
this, she was holding senior executives positions at Havas and Lagardere Group
after having started her career at Mckinsey as a consultant and manager.

Heather Killen is co-Founder and a Partner in Hemisphere Capital, a private
equity and corporate finance advisory boutique.  At Yahoo!, the online
information portal, she was the European Managing Director and then Senior Vice
President International Operations. She played a key role in Yahoo!'s
international expansion throughout the late 1990s, establishing it in 22
countries, before leaving in 2001.  A print journalist by background, Heather
has spent all her career in media-related roles.
