David Chance steps down from the Board
ITV announces that David Chance stepped down from the Board of the Company on 13
February 2006. As his involvement in other television ventures has developed
over recent months, it has become increasingly difficult for David to fully
participate in all Board discussions. He has therefore decided that it would be
appropriate for him to resign from the Board at this time.
David Chance said: 'Over the last five years I have very much enjoyed being a
director first of Granada and then of ITV and am particularly pleased with the
success of the merger and the growth of ITV's new channels. I wish the Company
every success as it continues the development of its new digital and consumer
businesses.'
Sir Peter Burt, Chairman, said: 'We would all like to thank David for his
valuable contribution to our Board discussions. His deep experience of the
television industry has been extremely helpful to us and we wish him well in his
other television ventures'
