Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC
Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC (the 'Company') has today declared a
Special Dividend in respect of the year ending 31st October 2005 of 0.45p (net)
per Geared Income share.
This dividend is payable on 22nd July 2005 to Geared Income shareholders (and
holders of Geared Income shares within Packaged Units) shown on the register on
24th June 2005.
This Special Dividend brings the aggregate of dividends declared by the Company
in respect of the current financial year ending 31st October 2005 to 1.90 p
(net). In its prospectus at launch in November 2004 the Company projected its
total dividends for the current financial year at between 2.8p and 3.0p (net).
The Special Dividend is being paid to existing Geared Income shareholders in
advance of the rollover of investors from Martin Currie Enhanced Income Trust
PLC on 30th June 2005 (the 'Rollover') which was announced on 26th May 2005.
