Exercise of Options
Application has been made for admission to trading on AIM of 95,000 ordinary
shares in James Halstead plc (the 'Company') in respect of share options
exercised at 202.5 pence per share on 16 May 2002.
The Company has been advised that Mr Mark Halstead and Mr Gordon Oliver,
directors of the Company, have exercised share options for 15,000 and 20,000
ordinary shares in the Company, respectively, at 202.5 pence per share on 16 May
2002.
The Company has also been advised that Mr Halstead has sold 15,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at 267 pence per share on 17 May 2002 and that Mr Oliver
has sold 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 267 pence per share on 17 May
2002.
Following this notification, Mr Halstead's and Mr Oliver's respective holdings
in the Company remain unchanged.
It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to trading on 23 May 2002.
