Results of AGM and EGM
At the annual general meeting of the Company held today, all the proposed resolutions were duly passed.
As announced on 1 November 2004, the extraordinary general meeting to approve the return of capital was also held today.
At the meeting, shareholders approved the return of capital, by way of a B share and C share scheme, of 60p for each
issued ordinary share held at the close of business on 10 December 2004. The return of capital was also approved by
preference shareholders at the preference shareholder extraordinary general meeting that was also held today.
Shareholders have until 5.00pm on 12 January 2005 to return their election forms in order to chose the way in which they
wish to receive their share of the return of capital. Cheques will then be posted on 20 January 2005 to those
shareholders who have elected for either the B share dividend or the C share initial redemption.
