Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited.
1,443,352 new ordinary shares have been allotted pursuant to the scrip
dividend scheme. Accordingly, an application has been made to the UK Listing
Authority for these shares to be admitted to the Official List and to the
London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. The Shares
rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company. Dealings in
London are expected to commence on 17 October 2001.
Copies of this announcement will shortly be available for viewing at the UK
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility which is situated at the
Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonade, Canary Wharf, London E14
5HS. Copies are also available from the London Secretaries of the company for
the period of 14 days from the date hereof.
