JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LIMITED

APPLICATION FOR BLOCK LISTING OF NEW SHARES

Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited (the 'Company') announced today that it had made applications to the Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange for admission to the standard listing segment of the Official List and a block listing of 584,371 new ordinary shares of US$0.25 each of the Company (the 'New Shares').  It is expected that admission of the New Shares to the Official List will commence on 23rd March 2017. 

The New Shares will be allotted and issued fully paid on exercise of the share options granted under the share-based long-term incentive plan of the Company, and will rank, pari passu, with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.
