JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LIMITED ('JMH')
CORRECTION OF NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS

The notification made on 22 November 2000 in respect of a change in Mr E P K
Weatherall's interest in 20,000 options over shares in JMH was incorrectly
stated as being due to a lapse of options in accordance with the terms of the
JMH 1995 Senior Executive Share Incentive Scheme. The lapse was in fact in
accordance with the terms of the Senior Executive Share Incentive Scheme
established by JMH in 1986.
