NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Please be advised that the announcement made on 7 June 2000 in respect of Mr E
P K Weatherall's acquisition of shares pursuant to the scrip dividend scheme,
over stated the number of shares acquired by 33,743 shares. This was due to
the failure of the investment adviser to make a scrip dividend election. The
Company was informed of this today.
