Directors' Holdings / Transaction in Own Shares

Following the announcement of Mr Lionel Grant's retirement, the directors have
undertaken the following transactions today in the shares of Jarvis Securities
plc ('Jarvis' or 'the Company') to consolidate their holdings in Jarvis within
the Grant family investment vehicle, Sion Holdings Limited, and to repay the
outstanding small directors' loan balances due to the Company.


Mr Lionel Grant has sold 1,000 shares at a price of 100p and no longer holds any
shares directly in the Company.

Mrs Florence Grant, Mr Lionel Grant's wife, has sold 1,000 shares at a price
of 100p and no longer holds any shares directly in the Company.

Mr Andrew Grant has sold 9,500 shares at a price of 100p and no longer holds any
shares directly in the Company.

Mrs Jane Grant, Mr Andrew Grant's wife, has sold 1,000 shares at a price of 100p
and no longer holds any shares directly in the Company.

Mr Mathew Edmett has sold 8,500 shares at a price of 100p and no longer has an
interest in the Company's shares.


Following these Disposals Andrew and Lional Grant are (through their family
holdings in Sion Holdings Limited)  beneficially interested in 7,527,422
Ordinary shares in the Company representing 66.03 per cent. of the Company's
issued share capital.


Sion Holdings Limited holds 7,610,050 ordinary shares in the Company being 66.8
per cent. of the reduced issued share capital.


Further, the Company has purchased 30,000 shares at a price of 100p for
cancellation. In addition, the Treasury holding of 30,000 shares will then be
cancelled which will result in a reduced issued share capital of 11,400,000
ordinary shares.
