Holdings in Company / Transaction in Own Shares
The company announces that Sion Holdings Limited has today sold 110,050 Ordinary
shares in Jarvis at 127p per share after being approached by an institutional
fund manager intending to build a stake in Jarvis. Sion's percentage holding has
been increasing due to the cancellation of shares and it was not Sion's
intention to increase its percentage holding in Jarvis. Sion now holds 7,500,000
Ordinary shares in Jarvis, representing 66.49% of the issued capital.
Sion has also entered into a long CFD contract for 2,500 shares of Jarvis today.
In addition, the company has purchased 63,000 of its own Ordinary shares at an
average price of 126.9p into Treasury pending cancellation. This is in
accordance with the authority granted by its Members and renewed at yesterday's
Annual General Meeting. Jarvis now holds 140,000 Ordinary shares in Treasury
pending cancellation.
