Transaction in Own Shares
The Company announces that between 8 and 10 October 2007, it
purchased 4,000 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 225.125p per
share to hold in Treasury. In addition, between 9 and 12 October 2007
the Company has sold 13,250 Ordinary Shares from Treasury at an
average price of 220.585p to meet demand from a private client broker
on behalf of clients.
The Company now has in issue 10,900,000 Ordinary Shares of which
73,750 are held in Treasury. The Company will continue to purchase
its own shares for Treasury when appropriate, and in accordance with
the authority granted by its Members.
