                                Board Changes


The John David Group Plc, ('the Group'), a leading specialist retailer of
fashionable branded sports and leisure wear, announces that Frank Martin, a
Non-Executive Director of the company, has resigned from the Board today with
immediate effect.

Peter Cowgill, Executive Chairman, said:  'On behalf of the Board, I would like
to thank Frank Martin for his valued contribution over the last year.  We will
be seeking a suitable replacement forthwith.'
