Licence P.2170 Verbier Prospect Site Survey
Jersey Oil & Gas (AIM: JOG), an independent upstream oil and gas company focused on the UK Continental Shelf region of the North Sea, is pleased to announce, further to its announcement of 6 October 2016, the geophysical survey vessel M/V Fugro Galaxy, on contract to Statoil (U.K.) Limited ("Statoil") as operator of UK Seaward Licence P.2170, Blocks 20/5b & 21/1d (the "P.2170 Licence"), arrived on location in the UK Central North Sea at 07:00hrs on 25 October 2016. This vessel is scheduled to acquire a site survey over the Verbier prospect located within the P.2170 Licence area in preparation for a potential exploration well expected to be drilled in 2017 to test the Verbier prospect. The site survey is due to be completed during Q4 2016 with interpretation of the results to follow, and a further announcement(s) will be made in due course as appropriate.
