AGM Statement

Dart Group PLC is pleased to announce that all of the ordinary and special resolutions proposed at today's Annual General Meeting were approved.

Commenting on current trading, Philip Meeson, Chairman and Chief Executive, said 'The Board is very encouraged by the Group's trading performance.  Trading in our Distribution business, Fowler Welch-Coolchain, has been in line with the Company's expectations, despite the poor summer weather impacting on distribution volumes from traditional summer foods.  In Aviation, the greater emphasis on leisure destinations within Jet2.com's flying programme has had a positive impact on both yield and load factor.  Revenues have been further boosted by strong late demand; this, combined with careful cost control and strong growth in charter flying, has resulted in an improved operating margin in this business, which is expected to continue for the year as a whole.'
