                             CLASS 2 TRANSACTION


Dart Group PLC today announces that it has exchanged Contracts for the
purchase of one Boeing 737-300QC aircraft. The aircraft was formerly operated
by Lufthansa since new. It will be used on the Group's intra-European cargo
operations with some supplemental passenger flying.

The consideration will be satisfied from existing cash resources and bank
facilities.

The new aircraft is expected to make a positive contribution to the long-term
profitability of the Group over the coming years.
