Share purchase

The Company announces that on 8 December 2005 Mike Forder, Group Finance
Director, purchased 700 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 324.3 pence
per share. These shares were registered in the names of his two children. Of 
these shares, 350 should be regarded as forming part of Mike Forder's 
disclosable interest in the Company, which results in his disclosable 
shareholding in the Company increasing to 25,350 shares, representing 0.07% of 
the Company's issued share capital.
