Dart Group PLC ('the Company')

On 3 August 2007 Andrew Merrick, Group Finance Director, was granted options
over 29,484 ordinary shares in the Company at an exercise price of 101.75 pence
per share. The options were granted in accordance with the Dart Group PLC
approved share option plan 2005. 50 per cent of the options are exercisable
after the third anniversary of the grant date and 50 per cent of the options are
exercisable after the sixth anniversary of the grant date. The options expire on
the tenth anniversary of the grant date.
