John Adams Appointed to Board

Dart  Group  PLC  is pleased to announce the  appointment
today of Mr. John Adams (aged 44) to its Board.  John  is
the  Chief Executive of the Group's Distribution Division
and  will be responsible for Coolchain Group Ltd.,  whose
acquisition  was announced by Dart Group on 1st  November
1999,  as  well  as  the  existing companies  within  the
Distribution  Division, Fowler Welch and Channel  Express
(CI).

John  has  worked in the operations that have grown  into
the  Group's Distribution Division for 25 years,  holding
key  operational and management posts.  He brings to  the
Board  a  wealth of experience to the fresh  produce  and
horticultural logistics sector.

John  Adams  holds 83,258 ordinary shares in  Dart  Group
PLC.
