John Lewis of Hungerford Plc ('the Company') announces that John Lewis, a non-executive director of the Company, notified it on 2 June 2015 that he sold 3,500,000 ordinary shares at 0.85 pence per share on the same day.  Following this disposal John Lewis holds a beneficial interest in 68,966,678 ordinary shares representing 36.9% of the Company's issued share capital.  This figure includes 6,439,924 shares over which Mr Lewis has granted options to members of the senior management team pursuant to the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan.
