John Lewis of Hungerford Plc ('the Company') was notified today that Diggle Investments Limited acquired 1,500,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 1 February 2010.  Following the acquisition, Diggle Investments Limited holds 6,400,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 3.4% of the Company's issued share capital.
