                              AGM Statement 2007


At the Annual General Meeting, which is due to commence at 3pm today, the
Chairman Simon Sherrard will make the following statement:

'Overall the Group has traded in line with expectations during the first quarter
of the year.

We are continuing to address the issues identified at our linen rental business,
Stalbridge and although progress has been made, we have yet to realise the
benefits of the actions being taken.

We are pleased that Charles Skinner joined the Group as Chief Executive Officer
on 16th April 2007 and his strategic review of the Group is now underway.

We remain confident in the prospects of the Group as a whole.'
