Appointment of Chairman

John Talbot has been appointed Executive Chairman of Johnson Service Group succeeding Simon Sherrard who is retiring from the Board after eight and a half years.

The Group now comprises three market leading divisions each led by strong management and following the successful refinancing of the Group the Board has decided that the appropriate Board structure is for the Group to be led by an Executive Chairman.

John Talbot has been with Johnson Service Group since December 2007 when he joined as interim Chief Executive. He has been instrumental in the restructuring of the Group over the last seven months.

The change takes place on 8 September 2008 (being the date of Admission of the Open Offer Shares to trading on AIM).

Simon Sherrard, Chairman said 'I leave the Group in very capable hands with a very strong management team led by John Talbot. I would like to wish John, the Board and the Company every success in the future.'
