Corporate Hygiene Services Acquired for £2.1m

Acquisition

Johnson Service Group PLC ('Johnson') announces the
acquisition of Corporate Hygiene Services Ltd ('CHS') for a
consideration of approximately £2.1 million in cash and
shares.

CHS is a wash room services company operating in the North West
and Midlands.

This acquisition furthers Johnson's stated strategy of growing
its dedicated wash room services business.

The consideration will be satisfied by the allotment of
488,335 new Johnson Ordinary shares and the balance of £0.6
million financed out of existing bank facilities. The new
Ordinary shares will be allotted and rank pari passu with the
existing Ordinary shares. Application has been made to the
London Stock Exchange for the new Ordinary shares to be
admitted to the Official List and dealings are expected to
commence on  22nd March, 2000.
