                     Appointment of Non Executive Director


We are pleased to announce the appointment of Baroness Wilcox to the Board as a
Non Executive Director with effect from 1 October 2003.


Baroness Wilcox is a graduate of French literature and began her career in a
family retail business and went on to found Capstan Fisheries Limited and
Channel Foods Ltd.


She subsequently held a number of senior public appointments including
membership of the House of Lords European Select Committee on Consumer
Protection and the Environment and is currently President of both the Institute
of Trading Standards and the National Consumer Federation.


Judith (62) lives in London and currently holds two other Non Executive
Directorships and sits on a number of advisory and regulatory councils. Her wide
experience of both business and public affairs will be a great asset to the
Board
