£1.1 m purchase order from Cardiff Council

Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), a leading provider of information systems and technical services to transport operators and local authorities is pleased to announce a £1.1m purchase order for the provision, installation and maintenance of high-definition real time passenger information displays from Cardiff Council.

This purchase order builds upon the £1m award to replace legacy 3-line LED displays announced 28 March 2023.

This new purchase order will see Journeo replace the remaining legacy displays within the City of Cardiff with Journeo's latest Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD displays, bringing enhanced levels of real time departure, disruption and supplementary information to bus passengers in Wales.  The new displays will connect to the Welsh Bus Data Content Management System (WBDCMS), a nationwide platform to manage the content of transport displays, also managed by Journeo.

Russ Singleton commented, "We are delighted that we are able to further enhance the level of real time transport information for residents and visitors to the capital of Wales.  Our latest open architecture displays perform seamlessly with the nationwide content management platform to provide users with the information they need to choose public transport with confidence, in both Welsh and English languages."

A digital copy of this announcement will be available on the Group's website: www.journeo.com.
