BEAR STEARNS PRIVATE EQUITY LIMITED
Following the initial launch of the Fund in June 2005, the Board of Bear Stearns
Private Equity Limited announces that the Company is considering, in the absence
of unforeseen circumstances, a further placing and offer for subscription of the
Zero Dividend Preference Share Class, the Equity Share Class and the Packaged
Units.
The proposed new issue is in response to both new investor and existing
shareholder demand. Proceeds will be used for general investment purposes
including both new primary private equity fund allocations as well as
opportunistic secondary purchases.
