Result of EGM

The Board of Bear Stearns Private Equity Ltd (the 'Company') announces that at 
the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today, all the resolutions, 
as set out in the notice of meeting contained in the circular sent to 
Shareholders on 9 November 2007, were duly passed.

Accordingly the expected date of completion of the Acquisition is on or around 
30 November 2007.

Terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those set out in 
the circular to shareholders dated 9 November 2007.  Copies of the resolutions 
passed have been submitted to the Document Viewing Facility of the UK Listing 
Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at:
