Changes to the Board of Directors
30th November 2000
The Board of The Fleming American Investment Trust plc are
pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Hamish Buchan as a
non-executive Director with immediate effect.
Mr Buchan is currently a Director of Aberforth Split Level
Trust plc and is a member of both the AITC Statistic and
Representative Committees. He has been involved in the
investment trust sector for over 30 years, mainly as an
investment trust analyst.
The notifications to be made under paragraph 16.4 of the
London Stock Exchange listing rules will be made in due
course.
It is further announced that Mr John Grimond, who has been a
non-executive Director of the Company since 1991, will retire
from the Company on 31st December 2000.
