The Company announces that it has today purchased 485,733 ordinary shares into Treasury at 378.70 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 32,400,205 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 249,233,705.  The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
