The Company announces that it has today purchased 34,828 ordinary shares into Treasury at 390.53 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 53,540,134 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 228,093,776.  The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
