REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

The Company announces that it has today purchased 24,883 ordinary shares into Treasury at 356.75 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 22,945,719 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 258,688,191. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
