The Company announces that it has today purchased 285,668 ordinary shares into Treasury at 398.52 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 53,925,802 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 227,708,108.  The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
