REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

The Company announces that it has today purchased 100,301 ordinary shares into Treasury at 359.20 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 23,046,020 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 258,587,890. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
