The Company announces that it has today purchased 39,575 ordinary shares into Treasury at 470.61 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 67,337,350 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 214,296,560. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
