JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc announces that on 14th August 2009 it issued 5,011 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated subscription shareholders.  

The shares in issue following this notification are 160,429,923 Ordinary shares and 31, 578,036 Subscription shares.
