JPMORGAN ASIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 3,380 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 95,546,624 ordinary shares and 7,233,915 subscription shares, of which 369 subscription shares held by certificated holders will be converted to ordinary shares on Monday 14th April 2014.

The right to exercise subscription shares in the Company expired at the close of business on 31st March 2014. The listing of subscription shares was suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. today.
