                               EXPIRY OF WARRANTS







The Board of JPMorgan Fleming Asian Investment Trust plc (the 'Company') today
announces that, further to the announcement made on 2nd March 2005, the Trustee
did not exercise the subscription rights on the remaining warrants as the net
proceeds of the subsequent sale of the shares would not exceed the costs of
subscription.

The remaining warrants have therefore expired without any value and no
distribution to warrantholders will be made.  Application has also been made to
delist the warrants from the Official List.
