JP Morgan Fleming Asian Inv Tst PLC 09 May 2005 STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT JPMORGAN FLEMING ASIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC Management Arrangements The Board of JPMorgan Fleming Asian Investment Trust plc announces that Michael Koh will become the Company's named investment manager in succession to Charlotte Yew who has given notice of her intention to retire from the fund management industry. Ms. Yew will continue to work full-time in the Singapore office of JPMorgan Asset Management ('JPMAM') until the end of May and will work on an ad hoc basis until the autumn to facilitate the transfer of her responsibilities. The Board has agreed with JPMAM that Michael Koh will assume the role with immediate effect. Mr. Koh is a senior investment manager at JF Asset Management ('JFAM'), JPMAM's Asian investment management arm. He is also a senior member of the JFAM Asset Allocation Committee. Mr. Koh joined the firm in 1981 as an investment manager for equity portfolios invested in Singapore and Malaysia. He moved to Hong Kong in 1985 and expanded his coverage of markets to include other Asian markets. He relocated to Singapore in 2000 and is currently Chairman of JF Asset Management (Singapore) Ltd.
